What’s your approach to patient care, and what can patients expect during a session with you? Your session is about what you are looking at achieving in your health. After getting to understand you better through detailed discussion, we’ll move onto a comprehensive examination, which often allows us to understand two elements: your pain/symptoms bringing you in and understanding if there are underlying imbalances or weaknesses causing these symptoms. Once we are complete with your examination, we can discuss if any other investigation is required or what plan of action should be taken to address your concerns and achieve your goals. From there on, we aim to achieve your results through hands on care.

What’s your favourite aspect of working in Chiropractic? I love reflecting back after having taken care of people and families over years and hearing their reflections about the health changes they have noticed since receiving chiropractic care. I love seeing people’s lives change for the better by taking an active part in recovery.

What are some of the conditions that you find you are most successful in helping people with? I’ve built many years of experience understanding the wound-up brain and how this impacts how people feel and function. Patients often present with the following: Headaches, Jaw pain, …..

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day? Watch relaxing, light Netflix series, go for a walk with my wife and an early night of sleep as my day starts at 5.30am

What are some common misconceptions about your profession that you’d like to address? Many people need to be understand that Chiropractic is building better brain function. Ultimately Chiropractic adjustments exercise small muscles at a spinal level with improve nerve feedback to brain function. Once you see that big picture, along with results, Chiropractic care becomes something you want, rather than need.

What’s the energy like in your treatment room? I enjoy upbeat tunes, friendly warm energy, light conversation, positive life reinforcement and a combination of manual and low force Chiropractic adjustments.

Coffee or tea? Strong Flat white does it for me first thing in the morning before work or after my morning run.

Sweet or savoury? Regrettably Sweet. Although the “bliss point” between sweet and savoury is awesome!

What’s one health tip you wish more people knew? Eat well, think well, and move well. Small changes (1%) with consistency over time will change your life.

What’s a hidden talent or hobby you have? Handyman work and gardening at home. When I mess up though, it does not look good!
