Back In Line Chiropractic is the result of the vision of Chiropractor, Dr. Roy Smith. Dr. Roy is a proud husband and Dad to two children. He enjoys spending time with his family when not taking care of the health of the community.

Dr. Roy enjoys seeing the health benefits of people living a health conscious life. For him, Chiropractic fits exceptionally well into this paradigm. For this reason, he enjoys seeing individuals and families in the community of all ages. Dr. Roy also loves taking care of pregnant women and has a lot of knowledge to impart to his patients in this area.

Early in his chiropractic career, Dr. Roy observed that a gentle approach along with educating his patients to look after themselves well, bring excellent outcomes.

Dr. Roy was a qualified Para-medic while living in South Africa and during this time he helped save many peoples lives. Dr. Roy completed 6 years of training and graduated at RMIT University, Melbourne. He achieved Bachelors Degrees in both Clinical Science and Chiropractic Science. Subsequently, Dr. Roy earned a Graduate Certificate in Sports Chiropractic and an International Chiropractic Sport Science Diploma. He was honoured by the award of a Certificate of Clinical Excellence from Chiropractic Education Australia in 2001. Dr. Roy attends regular continuing professional development and education to keep up with the latest in natural healthcare. Dr. Roy was presented an Outstanding Service Award by the Victorian branch of the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia in 2007. In 2008, Dr. Roy achieved the prestigious award of Victorian Chiropractor of the Year for his outstanding service to the Chiropractic profession and the community.

Dr. Roy is a member of the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia and has served on the board of the Victorian branch for over 10 years. He is also a member of the Australian Spinal Research Foundation.
